"I use this for hot drinks and it holds the heat for most of the day. And the 18/8 Stainless Steel is safe for acidic drinks, unlike cheaper metal thermoses. I wouldn't drink anything hot out of the silicone cup, but the thermos works great."

"I purchased this decanter because I hope to use it for both a water bottle and to carry hot tea and use the really cool silicone cup on the bottom. Does not work well as a water bottle because the spout is so large. Nothing wrong with the bottle if you’re buying it as a decanter for wine. However, this does not work well as a water bottle."
