Bundle up and get outside.
Put on some layers, scarves, gloves, etc., and take a walk around the block. It’s also skiing season! Hit the slopes with your friends, or head over to the nearest sledding hill. If the sun is peaking through, make sure you head out for some much-needed Vitamin D.
Reconnect with old friends over facetime during time spent indoors.
In the winter, you may find yourself chatting with fewer people and spending more time alone, it can be hard to travel and connect with others. Don’t hesitate to call up that one friend you’ve been meaning to catch up with. Plan group Zooms and Facetimes to stay in touch with family and friends.
Change your setting, go to a coffee shop or a brewery for leisure time.
If you work from home and are getting sick of staring out your office, window bundle up and head to your local coffee shop. A change in scenery never gets old! When 5 o’clock rolls around go grab a drink at a nearby brewery or bar and resist the urge to hang on the couch.
Discover a new hobby or series.
When you are inside, keep your brain and body occupied. Find a new fun indoor hobby like crocheting, cooking, or puzzles. Start a new book series and find yourself enthralled within a new world, and when browsing streaming services opt for an educational documentary.
